I installed Design 7.5.0 on my workstation. After the install I let it check for updates and it of course found 7.5.1. This is a Windows 7 64 bit workstation.

The update installation hung at:

Status:
File: C:\Config.Msi\1a59500.rbf.

I ended up canceling the install after 30 minutes. I went to uninstall some unwanted items and it hung at the same spot(I had forgotten to deselect the fax and image options on the initial install).

Have you tried the offline installation?
If you have valid OLCare (sounds like you do) try this link:

Please advise of results.

Thanks! I downloaded the offline install and ran it, choosing repair. The install did finish. However, near the end it threw up some errors:

Cosole Window Host error - at this step the install screen showed "Registering PlanetPress Suite 7 Plug-ins files

xcopy.exe application error - failed to start correctly.

Everything seems to be working fine and the product is activated.

Thanks again!

Hi,

You must uninstall the PlanetPress Suite using the Windows uninstaller programs and run the installer again.

Update for whoever is reading this post: Just click cancel when it hangs and it works anyway.
