Hi there,

It would be great to be able to copy elements of one document to elements of the other, or even to be able to open multiple documents in one instance of PPD (e.g., "tabbed documents")

I currently have a design file in production, but frequently I have to work on parts of this file and test it before making it live.

Ideally, I would like to work on those parts in a separate document and copy them over when I am ready to do so... instead of making the changes directly to the production version.

Thanks!

Chris,

You can already open two or more documents at once. You have to double-click on the pp7 from Windows as opposed to opening them from the software. If you do it that way, it will open a new instance of the software, with the other document, so you can have multiple documents open at once.

And you can copy-paste the objects from one form to the other once you have multiple instances open! And it's as simple as doing a normal copy-paste!

Hope that helps!
