Is there anyway to setup our Production watch server so that we could have it installed on two machines, one in Seattle and one in Sacramento, but using only a single license?

Seattle is our primary location. This is where it's running now.

Sacramento would be a backup (disaster in Seattle) site should Seattle be unavailable.

We can't afford two licenses given the unlikely need for the backup site.

Should the unthinkable happen, we could "flip a switch" or change a "magic number" in a file and like "magic" the Sacramento server would process jobs and the Seattle server would be non-functional?

Any ideas?

Hi Ricks,

Unfortunatly the only way to have Production on 2 different workstations is to have 2 different licenses.

If you wish to permanently change the server you are working on, you could always complete the license transfer form. This will enable you to move the license from one workstation to the other, but to continuously have 1 license for 2 servers is not available.

If you wish to have more information, you could always contact your local activations department, they will be able to provide you with more information.
