The most flexible way of achieving this is to add a new data selection object and set it to display a Custom Data Selection that contains :

=inttostr(&current.line)


Next:
  • Align the new object vertically with your original object. Space them horizontally as you wish
  • Reset your original object's Repeat options to No Repeat
  • Group both objects to form a new object
  • Set the group's Repeat options to the same settings you had for you original object


That should give you a nicely indexed list.
