Hi,

This has been going on for some time now ... but nothing seems to be concrete as to when it happens. It occurs randomly. But here is the error message:

This happened to 28 customers this month. Is there anything that anybody can see that would cause this sort of behavior?

With 28 failing there was 328 successful generations.

Looks like your VB is lacking a closing parenthesis.

That error message appears on every generation ... this was a script that was developed during implementation by Objectiflune. Here is a good one:

Remember, PlanetPress is a 32bit application and can only use about 3gb of RAM per process. Are the failing files very large?

Watch runs as local system account ... so full access rights?

The file that originally gets dropped into the "Statement" pool is a text file ... normally 3 or 4MB max. So ... I can not possible see it being a memory issue. And this file itself would be 60K or less. Very small.

At this point I would suggest opening a support ticket so all the pertinent details can be reviewed.

Thanks for the advise - unfortunately OL Care is expired. Will have to see if their is room in the budget for this.

First of all, be aware that whenever a VBScript fails, it fails entirely. In other words, it doesn't perform part of what it's supposed to do until it errors out. So you either have to fix it, or remove it completely.

As for the memory issue, could it be that this text file does not have any CR/LF and is just a lonnnnnnnnnnng single line? If that line is more than 64K long it could overrun the string buffer in the document. That might not be the issue but it's worth a double-check.
