When a pen is docked, the current batter level should be written to the sync history log. And ideally it should be a retrievable element in the workflow. That way an email could be generated if a pen was docked with a battery percentage below a certain threshold. Watching the battery levels is unfortunately a very manual process now and when that process fails, valuable data is lost.

Interesting suggestion, but the Pen Director is provided by Anoto, not by Objectif Lune.

PlanetPress does not communicate directly with that Service. PlanetPress Workflow only receives the PGC's provided by the Pen Director, and that PGC does not contain battery level information.
