I have PlanetPress 7 Office running on Windows 2003 Standard. I want to install RightFax software on the same server for PP7 to interface with, as there is no need to create/install a server dedicated to RightFax. The RightFax specs say the minimum requirement is Windows 2008 Standard.

If I upgrade the O/S from W2k3 to W2k8, will I have to re-license PlanetPress due to the magic number changing? I've already had to do that once recently because the first server PP7 was installed on was in conflict with another application, so I created a stand-alone virtual server for it.

Yes, you will have to re-license. But if you contact our activation team ahead of time and explain what you want to do, they will provide you with a simple and quick upgrade procedure for your license.
