we recently got the Beta 4.1.
Is there any documentation available that tells
a) where to find the examples on your disk,
b) where to find the predefined "*.ol-datamapper",
c) which datamapper-definitions correspond to which examples?

As there are 13 Templates I'd assume either 13 matching data-definition files or some other hint.

First of all, this Forum is no longer the proper place for posting questions on the beta. It is not actively monitored. You should post your questions and comments on the OL Learn site.

That being said, to answer your question, the samples can be found in your installation folder, under the plugins\com.objectiflune.drupa_xxxxxxx subfolder.

This path will obviously be changed when we release the official Version 1.
