Hi there.

I have a simple workflow with two processes.

The first process uses CREATE FILE to convert a PDF file to a TEXT file.

The second process then emails the TEXT file via SMTP.

This all works great for small TEXT files (about 50K), but the large files (about 500K) are a problem.

These large TEXT files take longer to concatenate so the email process is grabbing them and emailing them before the file is complete. So the TEXT files get emailed in 5 or 6 pieces.

Is there a way to stop this?

The create file cannot convert PDF files to text, it wouldn't even know how to distinguish a PDF from a CSV or XML file... but I guess that's beside the point for this immediate issue.

Your first process should create a second file after it is done concatenating. And your second process should monitor for the appearance of that second file before mailing the concatenated results.
