Hi, hope someone can help! We are using Oracle 11g(r2), driver is SQORA32.DLL. Windows 7

We have tested the connection and it is working. However, when we try open the database in PSM through the ODBC data source we get the following error: "The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application."

If anyone has any idea how to resolve this issue, it would be greatly appreciated! We really need this to work as we are working with a database with multiple tables so an ODBC connection is necessary. TIA

So, we still are unable to make an ODBC connection in PSM! We really need to get this resolved.

We have verified we are using the 32 bit odbcab32.exe in the SysWOW64 folder we are still unable to establish a connection through PSM!

I've sent two emails to support with no response.

The application is 32-bit, so it claims that a 64-bit driver is being used. Confusingly the 64-bit ODBC driver for Oracle has the same name as the 32-bit driver: SQORA32.DLL.

When you install the ODBC driver the system keeps a reference to the instant client folder containing odbc_install. Maybe that folder was later repurposed to store the 64-bit ODBC driver?

Please have a look at that folder and make sure that the ODBC drivers inside that folder are really the 32-bit versions. (I don't know of an easy to way to do that other than comparing the file size with freshly downloaded 32-bit files.)

Thank you, we will take a look at that avenue.
