I get run on processes in the task manager called "LMUD1N4Z.EXE" It says that it is a Lexmark program.

I am wondering if I can delete some of the printers in my list in windows to hopefully stop the run on job? I realize it needs to run and usually only runs about 2-4 minutes.

I am pretty sure, once I set them up in Planetpress that the printers are no longer needed on the Windows side of things, since Plantpress now has its own version of them.

Am I correct?

Dennis

I wouldn't terminate your printer in Windows. I do not know about the LMUD1N4Z.exe program. For that you would need to contact Lexmark.

Now PlanetPress doesn't have its own version of them. If you are talking about the Design tool, you can add a PPD file which contains Postscript information about the printer (tray calls, finishing options, font installed, etc...), which will allow you to set-up your form.

You printer list being Windows drivers for each printer will still be needed for other applications like a text editor or Adobe or anything else to print.
