Struggling a little to get this to work. Using excel to generate the data sequence format "0001" to "9999". Sequence may not always be numeric.

Creating one-up carbonless forms works fine. Creating single sheet N-up forms (raffle tickets) works fine. Creating N-up carbonless forms not working. Changing various parameters (trial and error) to get the desired output. Not there yet.

If I have a 4-part carbonless form, can I use one virtual page for all normal pages, or do I need a virtual page for each normal page? How should the n-up settings be set for each page? Then I am trying to use the telescoping sort to get the printing of the numbers in the correct sequence/position.

Thank you.

Without seeing your form and how thing were designed, I would say that having 1 virtual page for all normal pages would be the way to do it.

However, the PressTalk you use to show your data sequence number would need to reflect the execution of the virtual page 4 times whilst keeping the number the same for each 4 copies (that is the expected result...right?)

Sorry for lack of information.

The design is as follows: 1 picture resource (pdf document) is used. There are 4 normal pages, 8.5x11. The only object on each page is the NUp which is set to 1-Horizontal repeat, 4-Vertical repeat. There is 1 virtual page, with a size of 8.5x2.75. There are 2 objects on the virtual page, Picture and DataSelection.

A data file is used for what could be a alpha numeric sequence/configuration.

PressTalk is not used.

When printed, the numbering will be as follows or what I am attempt to achieve.
00A1 00C3 00E5 00G7
00A1 00C3 00E5 00G7
00A1 00C3 00E5 00G7
00A1 00C3 00E5 00G7
00B2 00D4 00F6 00H8
00B2 00D4 00F6 00H8
00B2 00D4 00F6 00H8
00B2 00D4 00F6 00H8

Or would it be best to reconfigure the design, eliminate the virtual page, revise the 4 normal pages as 4ups, and revise the data file to reflect that there are 4 "numbers" per record Vs using the one "number" of a record 4 times?

I think I reproduce what you are expecting. Here is what I did.

6 form pages (1 virtual, 1 overlay, 4 regular pages):
- Virtual one holds you picture and data selection
-- Size is 8.5 * 2.75

- Overlay is holding the n-up object, 1H * 4V
-- Change datapage with each repeat UNCHECKED
-- Size is 8.5 * 11

- Normal pages uses the overlay
-- Size is 8.5 * 11

Let me know if that works for you.
