Hello all,

I am trying to pick up Photos from a local folder C:\Photos. The file names are formatted like this: Smith,John-1234567890.jpg. In the data file I only have the last 10 digits and not the name in front.

How can I find the file with just the last 10 digits and bring this into my form? I have Production so I can create a jobInfo if necessary before to hold the file name for use within the form.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Dan

Since only the number information are used, you could write yourself a script that would rename all images with only the number part. Of course, this would only work if the number is unique.

The number is unique but new ones will be added with the old naming convention. Can I just make a call to the file with a wildcard character?

Unfortunately, no.

Set yourself up a process that grabs new files, rename them with the script, and drop them into a new folder.
