Its been a long while since I have been here, with a question.
I tried searching and well now the question from 7.2 PSM.

I have a mailing that I have designed 6 different 2 page (layout) documents, with variable images and text. The plan was to mail this as a double sided barcoded presorted mailing in window envelopes.

What I would like to do is presort the data in my mailing software, and have PSM change the letter (layout) depending on a variable called GROUP in the data so group 1 -6.

Can I create a 12 layout document that does this or create another PSM file that would pull from the different PSM files dependent on the version of the letter I need?

It's not possible to pull data from other PSM documents. I think what you're looking for is layout conditions, described here:

no worries neither do I, though I did end up just making 6 different PSM files to deal with this. Turns out they sent me 6 databases anyway.
