Customer provided a .png of a signature for a letter, but a white, rectangular background of the .png is obscuring part of the watermark of the letterhead underneath (set as an underlay page).

Of course I checked the "Transparent" box in the Picture Object Settings. I have been using PlanetPress for over a decade, and have used many transparent images in my forms. I do not know why this one is giving me problems.

Perhaps the issue is the method in which the image as originally created, but I do not have the graphic design knowledge or vocabulary to even explain to the customer what is wrong.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the valuable info.

I didn't mention that the signature itself was colored blue. I didn't think that was a factor, but obviously it was not a monochrome image.

Once I saved it as monochrome, I used the Duotone option to make the script blue again. Worked perfectly!
