I've one question of planetpress installation.

I want to know that when we finished to install planetpress, we'll have 30 days trial period before we're required to activate the software. During this period, we need to do some testing on it.

However, if we over 30 days trial period and not yet activate the software. What will happen ? Can we still continue to do testing ? And can we activate it after 30 days trial period ?

After the 30-day period, the software will no longer run and will ask you to activate. You can activate it during the period or after.

If you need to extend the 30-day period, you may request an extension. Contact your reseller or Objectif Lune for more information.

Sorry, I want to ask couple other questions. Actually my case is I'll start to do planetpress migration from current operating server to a new server in my company.

I want to confirm that if I activate my new planetpress in new server, can my old planetpress be running in the old server at the same time ?

Do I need to completely uninstall the suite from the old server before I can activate the new server ? Or do I just stop the planetpress service on old server ?

If I haven't finish my testing before activate my new planetpress, how can I get the extented period ?

Stop the service on the old server, and start it on the new one. Once you are satisfied that everything is running as expected, then you can uninstall the software from the old server.

Make sure you don't try to run both servers simultaneously with the same serial number because the system will detect it and will shut down one of the servers automatically.
