Inserting Data within a Function.

So I have three thank you cards for a customer. The text on the inside is 3 different variables based on a code in the data base. But there is also variable within the variable. If I take the extra variable out, I can get it to work, but I need the extra variable.  Here is what I need, but I can not get it to work. What am I missing? IF([list]="FT","Dear ",[full name])",

Oh Jean-Cédric, you are awesome! That worked like a charm! Any idea how to insert a signature image at the end so it looks like this.
