Hello folks,
I have a PP7 client that suddenly stopped seeing the PlanetPress Suite Workflow printers about 10 days ago. Nothing we tried made any difference. In a last ditch attempt we wiped out the hard drive and reinstalled Win10 Pro. The reason this decision was made was that the user was experiencing other issues and it was deemed the cleanest way to recover. However we are right back where we started. He can only see a loop back in his workflow printers (see below), Cannot paste the image
It just says LOCALHOST 127.0.0.1 available yes running No

There are 3 other PC’s in the office that connect to the same PP7 production unit that see and connect just fine. This is the only one having these issues. Here is a screen shot of the access manager from the production box below.
Everybody 255.255.255.255 with all check boxes except SendConfig checked. I can see everybody else connect except the reimaged box

The unit in question is IP address 10.10.1.108, even if I add it manually and restart the service it does not stick. I am at a loss as to what to try next. Antivirus has been temporarily disabled on both PC’s as I try and work through this issue. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Also I’m quite new to PP7 and this config has been installed and working properly for years.

Regards
Charlie

Have you check the firewall and any other network firewall that might have been updated/setup recently?

No I have not. Are there specific ports that need to be opened in order to communicate? It seems odd that a firewall issue would be limited to just one user.

There is the documentation on it.

I am not saying that this is the issue but if you would have called at support, we would have check that...in case of.
