I have a specific font called Kendra5.ttf that is installed on a Windows Server 2012R2 computer where we have been running PlanetPress Production for many years. We are replacing this computer with a new computer running Windows 11. We have reinstalled PlanetPress Production and everything is working fine, except this font.

I copied the font from the old system and installed on the new system. It is there and works fine. I rebooted the new system two times. I can create a soft proof from the Designer on the new system and it works fine. I can create a preview PDF too just fine. Only when I try to create a PDF with image, it does not work. The log says "Font Not Found".

Any ideas?

It is not just that font. I have another TrueType font that does the same thing. Could it be Windows 11?

It appears the windows 10 and 11 store fonts differently than older versions and Image could not find them. The solution is to go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Fonts and select all, then right click and select "Install for all users"

It should be noted that as of this writing, Windows 11 has not yet been certified for PlanetPress Suite.

We are hoping to be able to add Windows 11 to the list of supported OS'es later this year or early in the new year.

Hmmmm, I didn't know that it's not supported in a Windows 11. Thank you for telling. I had a similar problem so while resting yesterday at my Berlin property I read this forum. I hope you can fix it soon.
