I'm trying to take an LPD Input and then convert to PDF and Send to Folder to a network file share, but I consistently get

W3001: Error while executing plugin: W3220: Error creating directory: (network file path): Error code 161: The specified path is invalid. Send to Folder: W1603: Plugin failed

I have gone around and around with making sure the account has access to the directory, which it does, so I'm not sure what else could be causing the error. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi MichelleM,

Can you please share the network file path you are using by the Send to Folder plugin? Please don't forget to anonymise sensitive information.

seems PlanetPress cannot resolve the network path, did you try with a mapped drive or with UNC path?
Sure that the Workflow service does have enough rights to access this folder?

It's \\(storage share)\cerner\share\PROD\IS_PDF and it's the mapped Z: drive on the server that has the Planet Press software.

I can add, modify, and delete a file on this share from the server that has the Planet Press software.

When Workflow run as a service, he doesn't have access to your mapped drive, even if it is logged as the same user as the one you are currently using when deleting files from the shared folder.

You could try to map the drive via VBScript from a Startup process, as to have it available for the Workflow service user.
