I am working on a variable data piece to be printed on a Kodak NexPress using their Dimensional clear dry ink (think of it as digital thermography). The dry ink is simply a clear raised image and is achieved by printing a specially named spot color.

Most of the cards that we're printing have a color background image - and I need to be able to print the spot color over the background without knocking out to white beneath it. So far, I'm having no luck with that. Anywhere my spot color appears, the image below is being knocked out. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jim
