Hi,
How do you remove any instance of Postscript Fonts from PP & the PPD so PlanetPress can reference only the TT Fonts?

We know the process of PP is to use PS Fonts first then PPD PS Fonts then TT Fonts regardless of the choice in the Style properties window, we want PP to reference only TT Fonts.
We added PS Fonts using wizard utility smile

What we have done so far:

a. Remove the .afm file from C:\ProgramData\Objectif Lune\PlanetPress Suite 7\Fonts
b. Update the fonts.dat file

Rebooted the computer and still find traces of PS fonts
How do we remove them completely?

How do we get the document to revert back to true type version of the font<assuming that we have deleted the postscript font, font from ppd >

Thanks
David

Hi David,

I'm not sure if you can really remove all the postscript fonts, and I personally wouldn't risk manually removing the system fonts of PlanetPress or editing the fonts reference in the default ppd file.

Why do you want to remove the fonts? If you create a style and select a TrueType font, it will use that TrueType font, it won't default to a PostScript font unless the TrueType font is unavailable(either not on the machine, or not embedded). Even then, you can't control what it defaults to, usually, it will be Courier.

Can you provide more details on why you are trying to delete the fonts? Because I'm not sure why the PostScript fonts are causing an issue, and I feel there's a misunderstanding somewhere...

Regards,
