I currently have a PP v7.6.2 Production and Design environment. I have been using a Ricoh SP 5300DN printer and I've formatted my pp document using Ricoh SP 5300PS PPD driver.

I've been running into an issue with the Ricoh printer respecting my pp documents. I've been fighting to get the documents to print to specific trays and duplexing. I usually set all of my settings in the document properties and not the pages. But I find that with this new Ricoh if I have print trays that are setup the same eg. 8x11 Letter, that the documents print to the first available tray instead of respecting what I've setup in the pp document eg. print to tray 2 or print to tray 3.

The same for duplexing. I've setup duplexing at the top level of the pp document but the form never prints duplex on two individual pages. The printer is setup for duplexing and will print duplex if it is done on the printer as a global setting (which is not what I want).

Any suggestions would be helpful. Should I use another ppd driver for the document?
